Terms of Service
These terms apply to everyone who uses Noticeboard (noticeboard.school). By creating an account you agree to them.
Accounts
Noticeboard is invite-only: you join with a code issued by your school and are responsible for keeping your login private. Accounts are for adults in the school community; children do not have accounts.
Community rules
Noticeboard is a shared school noticeboard. Post things that are useful to the community and kind to the people in it. No harassment, hate speech, commercial advertising, or content that violates the law or another person’s privacy. Community posts are reviewed by parent moderators before they appear, and moderators may decline a post with a reason. The school office can remove members who repeatedly break these rules.
Your content
What you post remains yours. You give Noticeboard the permission needed to display it to your school community, translate it, and include it in summaries and digests. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
The service
We work to keep Noticeboard fast, secure, and available, but it is provided “as is” without a guarantee of uninterrupted service. Noticeboard is a communication tool and must not be relied on as the sole channel for emergencies; schools keep their existing emergency procedures.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Noticeboard’s liability is limited to the amount the school paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
You can stop using Noticeboard at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. Schools can end their agreement as described in their service contract.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and disputes are settled in the courts of Vilnius.
